Hello MLL Families,

ACCESS testing continues across the district.  Thank you for your assistance with this.

At Springbrook Elementary School, Dr. Seuss' birthday will be celebrated with a Spirit Week from March 2-5.  Each day students and adults are encouraged to dress up.

Monday, 3/1:  Green Eggs and Ham Day- In honor of Green Eggs and Ham, dress in green and  white for Dr. Seuss and Springbrook Spirit Day!

Tuesday, 3/2: The Cat in The Hat Day- Children and adults are encouraged to wear a fabulous hat for the day.

Wednesday, 3/3:  In honor of The Lorax, children and adults are encouraged to wear a mustache.

Thursday, 3/4: In honor of Fox in Socks, children and adults should wear their zaniest sock combinations.

Friday, 3/5:  In honor of The Sleep Book, wear your pajamas and robe to school.

The MLL Committee at Springbrook is planning a Multicultural Virtual Showcase.  We would love to have our students, their families, and our  Springbrook staff participate by creating cultural videos, Jam boards, pictures, etc.  Your cultural contribution could be reading in a native language and English,  performing a traditional dance, singing a song, teaching students how to greet someone in another language, a musical experience, a cooking demonstration, a cultural PowerPoint, etc.  The videos and cultural contributions  would need to be  submitted by Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 12:00 p.m.

Please feel free to contact me at 401 348-2296, extension 5359 or at bmelillo@westerly.k12.ri.us with any questions or concerns.

Have a great weekend!-Ms. Melillo
