Dear Westerly Middle School Families, 

Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year! As the new Westerly Middle School Principal, I am looking forward to working together to ensure that each of our students shine.

The warm welcome that I have received has been wonderful.  I am looking forward to a great start and am excited about the opportunities ahead.  We stay committed to “Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe”, in all actions and words. We are taking care of ourselves, taking care of each other, and taking care of our community as we strengthen our commitment to excellence.  We know that coming to school every day, on time, and ready to learn, will help us in reaching our individual and team goals. 

As we continue to put the safety of our community first, we will continue to share updates regarding COVID-19 or any other health-related issues in coordination and consultation with the Rhode Island Department of Health and the Rhode Island Department of Education.

Our team has been planning opportunities to ensure that all students find success and are prepared- socially, emotionally, and academically- for any of life’s challenges.  We will continue to reach out for new ideas to grow our Bulldog Pride!

Grade 5: Tuesday, August 30th, 5:00-6:00PM. Don’t miss our short welcome for 5th grade students and families starting at 5!

Grade 6:  Wednesday, August 31st, 5:00-6:00PM

Grades 7 & 8:  Wednesday, August 31st, 6:00-7:00PM

All team assignments and welcome letters will be sent out on Friday August 12 via Skyward.
