The Treble Staff
Third Graders have been learning the notes on the treble clef staff:
The lines are remembered as Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge - EGBDF
the spaces are remembered as FACE
Remember, the staff works like a ladder, always start at the BOTTOM and the notes climb higher as you go up.
You can even use your hand and fingers as a practice staff. Your fingers become the lines (all 5 of them) and the spaces between them are the spaces (there should be 4). Have fun exploring the musical code of the staff!
