Unit 4.2.3 and Homework Helper!

In Unit 4.2.3, students learn to multiply 2-digit by up to 4-digit numbers together. Students decompose numbers according to place value to make easier multiplication equations. They investigate different patterns to find rules and justify if their answers are reasonable. Students then apply this new skill in real world settings. Ask your child about the area model they use to multiply multi-digit numbers!
