Students in Mrs. Walker's class are getting an extra music class on Friday afternoons 2:30-3:10. During this extra class they will be learning to play the ukulele! Students will learn to strum simple chord patterns while they sing. They will also learn about tablature (TABS) notation. TABS are diagrams that show where to place your fingers to strum a particular chord. With practice, students will have the ability play favorite songs while accompanying themselves.
All grade 4 classes will have extra music class at some time during the year. All students will have the opportunity to learn ukulele. Hurray for ukulele!!!!!
