  • April is here!

    Hello families! Happy April! Now that the weather is starting to get warmer, I strongly encourage students to go outside and PLAY afterschool! Fresh air and movement are so important for their young, growing bodies; and playing with others is equally as important for their social skills.  Here are this month's important dates to mark your calendar's with: Fundations Unit 11 is due on April 13th (Thursday) April 3rd - 7th: READING WEEK April 14th - No School - Good Friday April 17 - 21: Spring Break!     Our classroom will be taking the NWEA assessment on the computer on Tuesday and Wednesday this week! Please make sure students get plenty of rest the night before, and have a healthy breakfast each morning! We want to make sure our learners show what they know and do they best they can do!

  • Winter Break!

    Wishing a happy holiday and a happy new year to my families and students in room 109! Just as a reminder, Winter Break will be December 26th - January 2nd. I hope you have a restful and joyful vacation, with time spent with friends and families.  I encourage students to continue to read and practice math facts while on break.     We will be working on the following concepts in Room 109: Math: We will be finishing up telling time to the hour and using data on a bar graph.     Whole Body Listening
