    This college level accounting course is aligned with the Financial Accounting course offered at CCRI & URI. Students can earn college credit upon successful completion.
    This course is a presentation of the objectives and procedures of accounting using the corporate approach.. Topics covered include: analyzing transactions, completing the accounting cycle, SEC requirements and GAAP, financial statements, internal controls, financial analysis, and accounting for short-term liquid assets, long-term assets, inventory, and liabilities.
    Students will be introduced to an automated accounting system and use spreadsheets as an analytical tool.
    Students will be using Google Classroom for all assignments and classroom activities.
