Instructor: Murphy, A.

Welcome! My name is Amanda Murphy and I have been teaching at Westerly High School since 2002. I am a proud bulldog, graduating from WHS in 1998, Upon graduating, I went on to join the terriers at Boston University's School of Education (#proudtoBU). While at WHS, I have taught a multitude of courses from consumer economics to, most currently, civics. I am also the Senior Exhibition Project coordinator and I enjoy working with seniors to help them develop and carry out amazing year-long projects that make an impact on our great community!

I believe that one person can make a difference in our world. Through civics, I hope to activate student's engagement in their local and global community. Ultimately, I want every student to believe in themselves and believe that if they have the heart and vision, they can have an impact!

Please feel free to contact me at 401.315.1592 or via email abmurphy@westerly.k12.ri.us. I look forward to an exciting year!
