CULINARY ARTS


Westerly High School Culinary Arts program prepares students to gain competencies within the food and beverage service industry. Students learn and become proficient in Food Service Safety & Sanitation, Nutrition, Use and Operation of Kitchen Tools and Equipment, Knife Skills, Food Preparation, Dining room Operations, Menu Design/Costing, and with Special Functions. The Students open a public dining room called the “Highland Grille” which gives the students the opportunity to learn in a realistic environment.
