  • October Update

Periodic PE/Health updates for Mr. Way's classes will become available in this space throughout the school year. Progress reports were recently distributed. If students missed classes due to absence or lost points for other reasons (no gym clothes-grades 6-8), points may be earned back by acquiring a make -up form from me or printing one from the link/file at the bottom of the page. Students begin Health classes next week. We move back to the gym for Soccer on October 20th. We've had a great start to this school year and look forward to an active remainder of the year.

  • Something to think about...

"Don't let what you can't do interfere with what you can do." "Be more concerned with your character than your reputation.  Character is what you really are, while reputation is merely what others think you are." "Discipline yourself and others won't need to." The above quotes are by the famous basketball coach John Wooden.  He coached at UCLA for 27 years.  He is in the Basketball Hall of Fame as both a player and a coach.  Though he was the winningest-ever college basketball coach, he stressed that all his players get an education and graduate from college.  At UCLA, his teams won 620 games and lost 147.  They won 10 NCAA championships in 12 years and once had an 88 game winning streak! The quotes above are just a few that he is known for.  Check back later for…
