Today is National Flip Flop Day
Attention Westerly Middle School: Summer is almost here and that means it’s time for summer reading. Here's how it works: read any two books of your choice; fill out the two postcards that you will receive in your report cards; return them to WMS in the fall or bring them to any one of our Summer Reading mailboxes around town. Happy reading!
Life doesn't always have to be so complicated - sunglasses, flip flops, and a sunny day might be all you need to experience a big THANK YOU to Life.
Please call 401-315-1692 if your child is out sick or will not be in school. We appreciate your help.
In order to volunteer, go on a field trip, etc. you must have a current BCI. BCIs are good only for the current school year, therefore, most BCIs have expired as of 6/30/18. Please review the steps below for new and returning volunteers.
The current WPS Volunteer Process is on the WPS District website under Community/Volunteers.
NEW VOLUNTEERS: Please complete the online 3 step Volunteer Process. This is at no cost to the volunteer. All three steps must be completed in order to finalize the volunteer process.
RETURNING VOLUNTEERS: Returning volunteers need to have an updated Local (RI State) BCI (Criminal Record Release form in Volunteer Process) done every year. If there is NO personal information changes, you do NOT need to complete the application - only the BCI check.
