I have been a learning specialist since 2002. I have experience working in both the Cumberland and Westerly Public School Systems. This is my sixth year working at Westerly Middle School. The last six years I have had the pleasure of being the learning specialist in a co-taught program. Co-teaching is when two professionals share there expertise to create a teaching and learning environment conductive to positive student outcomes. We believe, that together, we can meet the needs of all learners in the classroom by providing a variety of instructional strategies.
