The mission of Westerly Public Schools is "to create an inspiring, challenging, and supportive environment where students are encouraged and assisted in reaching their highest potential". For some of our families, WPS achieves this goal by supporting a family's decision to provide home schooling for their children. The Office of the Assistant Superintendent has been designated by the Superintendent to oversee the management of the home school process and we strive to maintain an open, supportive relationship with our home school families. Below are links to Westerly Public Schools documents that may assist you as you make a decision to begin home schooling, or as you seek to enrich your home school experience.
