Instructor: Barnhart, A.
“Finding Individual Voice; Making Collective Change”
Sophomore English for Social Action, while aligned with the Shifting Perspectives course objectives around critical reading, writing and speaking/listening, takes a different approach--one with a focus on issues of social justice. Through an exploration of literature and life, students will work from a place of taking a stand and making a change. This course is designed for learners who wish to explore a passion/topic deeply and use their inner drive to contribute their voice/act in a social and civic manner.
